GUOQI graduated from the School of Government at Peking University (MPA) and previously served as the Director of the Sustainable Fuels Professional Committee under the China Association of Productivity Promotion Centers.
She is a practitioner and researcher in sustainable fuel industrial policy, carbon-negative technologies, emissions trading, and sustainable value chains. She possesses extensive experience in facilitating China–Europe climate technology cooperation and has worked in the sustainable fuels sector for over 18 years. At Green Fuel Co., Ltd. and ZeroLink AB, she leads the companies' sustainable development strategies and promotes the application of carbon-negative technologies.
Her current areas of focus include:
- Application markets for sustainable fuels: By analyzing fuel usage across different production processes, she designs carbon‑negative products for enterprises and supports them in achieving outstanding performance among customers and stakeholders.
- Green premium trading across different markets: Through analyzing carbon emission trading systems (ETS) in various global markets, she designs strategies for enterprises to maximise green premiums.
- Mutual recognition of sustainability and carbon certification across different markets: Through the Online Monitoring and Certification System for Sustainable Products (OMSCC), she builds customer trust in suppliers and transforms carbon‑reduction and life‑cycle data into measurable business value.
- Measurable value: By continuously upgrading sustainable products, she provides enterprises with long‑term competitive advantages in technology and carbon‑reduction support. Her unique value lies in bridging the value gaps between multi‑market and single‑market contexts, leveraging her over 18 years of hands‑on experience in sustainable fuels and dynamic analysis of global climate policies, thereby promoting China–Europe cooperation in green transformation.
